Station Project
My clients children had outgrown their playroom and they wanted to transform the characterless, underused room into an inviting, cosy family space they could all enjoy. The family lived in a lovely period home and so I redesigned this room to fit in with the style of the rest of the house, striking the perfect balance between traditional and contemporary.
Taking inspiration from the beautiful tiles on the fireplace, I used moody pinks and greens throughout. By colour drenching the walls and doors in Farrow & Ball’s Sulking Room Pink and painting the fireplace a striking black this space was transformed into a cosy, characterful family room that everyone can enjoy.
